Twin Cities Fourth of July and Food Festival on Harriet Island

Taste of MInnesota in St. Paul, runs from July 3-6, 2008. The Fourth of July weekend on Harriett Island features food, music and Fourth of July Fireworks nightly.

A Taste of Minnesota in the Twin Cities is a celebration of food, fun and fireworks and the Fourth of July. The free festival is from July 3 - 6, 2008 on Harriet Island in St. Paul, Minnesota. The Fourth of July is traditionally a great time for festive gatherings. A Taste of Minnesota celebrates the Fourth of July, Minnesota food and musical entertainment.

2008 is the 26th year of the popular festival. Crowds of people gather in Minnesota's Capital City to enjoy food and music. Every night of the festival fireworks light the skies starting at 10:15 pm.

Three stages of music feature a variety of entertainment. Entertainment stages include the Taste Stage, MN Stage and Christian Music Stage. Following is the band lineup for the three stages.

A Taste of Minnesota Food

Taste delicious festival food from local vendors. Food will be served by vendors including All Star Catering, 5-8 Grill, Bennett's Chop and Railhouse,Bridgeman's, C & :L Concessions, Carolina Catering, Carrie's Popcorn, Cheese Curd Factory, Derrick's, Donutman Joe's, El Burrito Market, Funnel Cake Factory, Falafel King, Gass station, Hickory Hut, Island Noodles, Maui Wowi, Northwoods Steak Buffet, O'Neil, Quality Food Service, Rick's Taco's, Shrimp Shack, Sportsman's Pub, Tom Thumb Donuts, Treasure Island Casino and Who's on First.
